Scones and Tea Saturday 8th June

We are having Tea and Scones on Saturday 8th June from 10:00 am until midday at the Corner House Narborough on Desford Road. This is to raise funds for the Heritage group and you can find out more about us and our villages. There will be a bottle raffle and members of the heritage group available. All welcome.

Uncovering our History – Tues 12th March Event

Patrons Evening Tues 12th Feb

On Tuesday 12th February 2013 we have our Patrons event at Narborough Parish Centre at 7:30pm. John Florence will be giving us a talk on Leicester and our Patron Olwen Hughes will be in attendance. There will be refreshments after the event and all are welcome. Members £1.50, non members £3.

Maplewell: History of the Lost Hamlet – Tues 8th January

The NALHS starts the New Year with our first event of 2013 with Darren Harris giving a talk on Maplewell. The ‘History of a Lost Hamlet of Leicestershire’. This will be held at Narborough Parish Centre on Tuesday 8th February 2013 at 7:30PM and all are welcome. Members £1.50, non members £3 and free coffee and tea after the event.

Floods in Narborough & Littlethorpe

We have all become accustomed to the rain this year, but with the ground sodden there was no where else to for it t go after the recent heavy rain on the weekend of 24th Nov 2012.
