News 1863 – Missing Bacon Part II – Prisoners Sentenced

Taken from the Leicester Chronicle 10th January 1863 Thomas Goddard (33), framework-knitter, and Jno Martin (35), framework-knitter, were indicted for stealing 10lbs. of bacon, value 7s. 6d., the propery of Elizabeth Mortimer, at Littlethorpe, on the 14th of November last.
